Scotch and the “band-aid” smell. Anyone ever notice this? I heard about this aroma in some parts of the brewing process, but hadn’t heard of this present in Scotch before.

  1. I emailed Valley Malts about coming by their place and filming while I’m up north. It’s 2 hours from where I’m staying….could be interesting!

  2. It seems like every brewery in our area is excited about their bourbon-barrel aged beers. Some are great… and some taste like overly sweet bourbon. Coin flip! Bluegrass Brewing Co had a nice one; Cutters was a bit too bourbon-y for me.
